At its meeting in June 2010, the Council determined to refuse to grant a planning permit for the project. Future Energy believes that its application fully meets the State’s Planning Guidelines for wind farms, and has therefore referred the matter to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT). A hearing date will be announced shortly.
