Future Energy Pty Ltd is a Melbourne based company established in 2003 to develop small and medium scale renewable energy projects. At present we have a number of wind farm and solar projects at various stages of development, ranging in size from 4MW to 100MW. The most advanced of these is the Hepburn Community Wind Park, which received a Development Approval in 2007 and will be Australia’s first community owned wind farm. (see www.hepburnwind.com.au).
Wind farms provide a return to investors from both the sale of the electricity generated and the sale of the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) attached to this energy. Future Energy is keen to provide opportunities for renewable energy projects to be available as investments for individuals, community co-operatives, landowners, superannuation funds, and other appropriate entities.
