Extensive consultation with local residents has occurred through late 2009 / early 2010 including house visits, Information Days, and the distribution of newsletters. We will continue to be available to visit residents to discuss the project in detail and answer any questions.
Newsletters:
Following the Council’s decision to refuse to grant a planning permit, a further newsletter has been mailed to local residents in August 2010 which can be downloaded here. Previous newsletters can be downloaded below.

Investment:
Wind farms provide a return to investors from both the sale of the electricity generated and the sale of the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) attached to this energy. As a shareholder in a wind farm, any rise in the cost of your household energy should be offset to some extent by an increase in the dividends from the wind farm.
Future Energy is the company behind the Hepburn Wind community wind farm project (www.hepburnwind.com.au), and is keen to encourage investment in the Pykes Hill wind farm by local residents either as individuals, as a community co-operative, or through superannuation funds.
If you have an interest in investing in Pykes Hill (or any of our other wind farm projects), please complete the form below and you will added to our database and contacted once Development Approval has been received.
